i still havnt tryed that, i use something like notepad, which is why i voted for notepad
actually dont have notepad on my system, overwrited it with metapad

GWD Text Editor - lots of great features that I require in an editor.
"DOS commands, such as compilers, can be run with the output captured in an edit window." - that's a key feature for me |

I use Crimson editor.  The only reason I use Crimson editor, is because of the numbers on the side.
But, for html and, PHP I use notepad. I'm going to tryout that, Liquid ninja thing.  |

| notepad? you're killin me!! you need to have the colored editors!! i can't live without them. i think mine is called perlide or perlidle or something. freeware found it google. works awesomely, has all the stuff you guys talkin bout but i usually do my error checking with huge debug files that just redirect to a text file in dos. |
