Hey All --
My name is Chris. I have a small private AI lab in Providence, Rhode Island. I would love to hear from anyone in my area who wants to hook up, or to use the lab.
I do AI research in lots of fields, mostly with Adaptive Language bots like ALICE and HAL. I am currently working on giving ALICE engines actual sight, visual pattern recognition. All finished products from the lab are given away free to other researchers around the globe.
To keep the lights on and make sure I don't starve to death, I sell these amazing AI Thumb Bots. Fully functional AIs with everything, even it's own Web server - on brand new SanDisk Thumb Drives. Check it out:

If you would like to see one of the AI Bots that this supports, to see what I am working on - visit the Queen of the Lab: Allison.

I dont.. It doesnt sound to 'suspicious' infact it sounds like a good idea.
People do need to make a living draget plus the DiskDrive can be recycled i'd think. |

Check out his feedback on ebay, You'd have to be incredibly ignorant to run a scam, AND your regular/legit auctions from the same account.
If he were scamming for money I bet the pice would be higher. If he were scamming for information (ie the thumbot has spyware) he would be letting people download it for free.
Maybe some of you who are trying to do email bots should talk to him about it, his bot apperently has that feature.
Just my thoughts |

Well , As it turns out i did actually buy one off him.
He did sound like a nice guy.
This is how it went:
He talked for a while about how he wasn't making money off it etc.
And 4 days later he told me that it was being shipped and to wait 10 - 14 days.
Then 10 days later he emailed me saying "I do not know what sort of shady deal you are doing but i have refunded you!"
But i never did receive the refund.
And didn't he already send it off *cough*
Well i did email him a few times asking about what was happening really.
And i never got even one reply ...
Next time i really need to be a lot less trusting. |

Anybody who wants you to buy software on a thumb drive is doing something shady. I mean why not sell the software and let you put it on whatever media you have. _________________ Eric256

| Just an idea. I really think it would be easier on both the client and the company. |

Judging from fusion's experience, I'd say it was a scam anyway. _________________ Check out Botworld! A dev resource for things bot.
