ok well , its staticspear here, in my alternite nick, i am quite bored . anyway here is some shit that you might like if your only just starting out makeing your bot for vb 6.0
well i am not going to show you everything im sure you can get the basics out of other good tutorials on this site .
so reference the api blah blah blah.
now if you wanted to make a sign in spammer, witch will sign you in and out so fast your c0ntacts will get a whole lign of -DeadRabit- has signed in messages up the right hand side of there screen, its easy. there are a few ways to do this here is two

now this spammer will give you 5 seconds after you push the button,
to go to the textbox in msn that you want to spam and after that it will send "-DeadRabit-" to your contact 10 times easy huh.
now you want a name changer, in a timer with the interval of 10000 add this
now if you wanted to have your name always changeing, before you start the timer make sure text1's text is "0" and it will change your msn nick to 2 then 3 then 4 then 5 then 6 then 7 and so on
for a bloody long time
well that passed the time for about 5 minutes. im going to go work on my mail bomber , have fun =)

Deadrabit, can i suggest if you are getting annoyed with Cer you either avoid him of just leave the forum? So you know Cer has done tons of good stuff fot this forum including Rivescript (which i still use) and his numerous bot templates. In the way that he took the age part of that so personally, he must also be agreeing that he is, indeed, a script kiddie.
So, age aside, you don't really present yourself to the community here as being a very good person, when, what little VB things you do post, involve spamming. Why not post something on how to exploit a vulnerability and kick your contacts offline because it makes their client crash? By telling new bot programmers how to spam their contacts and be a royal pain in the ass, you also put out a bad image about what bots are all about, and you only reinforce the stereotype that companies like Symantec talk about, saying that "ALL BOTS ARE BAD NEWS!"
This site was founded around the idea of useful bots that chat and provide services to their users, not annoying bots that spam, flood, or otherwise inconvenience their users. The bots that this site was created around are called chatterbots; the ones you seem to be programming are better called spambots, and they don't belong on this forum; they belong on other sites that are full of spyware, adware, and everything else that causes nothing but trouble.
Furthermore, making blind insults full of swear words and insults about physical appearance when you have no idea who you're talking to, doesn't improve your image to everyone else on this forum. Us 4 or 5 people are pretty much the only ones left, at any rate. This community's been pretty much entirely dead for at least a year now.
Spammers are pretty nearly just as annoying as programs that cause your MSN to completely crash. Yeah, bots can be programmed to automatically block spammers, but what about your users? A sign-on spammer doesn't affect bots at all because bots wouldn't even care, but filling up a user's screen is just annoying.
And no, script kiddies don't just download random scripts to attack forums. They also pirate Microsoft Visual Studio and write 12-line VB viruses that propagate themselves over e-mail and make them secretly famous worldwide as they fall into the history books. They also write programs that flood or crash people from IM networks, or write DDoS bots to attack specific servers, among lots of other things.
Furthermore, you weren't even directly insulted here until you started swearing up a storm.

Script kiddies do sometimes know how to write visual basic scripts. And they use them for malicious purposes, such as your script right there for spamming. Cer does have a point and has been around alot longer than you and most of us have, he is one of the more respected programmers on this forum and everyone knows that,
if the forum was still active you would have been banned for this, Cer is also correct in saying that there are only about 6 of us that actually visit the forums to see whats new and when we do we get people like you coming on.
