As most people know MSN can store the convo's in those annoying XML files, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested if I made a converter to lol convert them into normal txt files that would be much easier to read and use.

*lazy* like me, if I get msgplus it messes up my brothers acount on this comp, I dont know why.

ok, well the first version is finished and can be downloaded from the bot section (though its not a bot, its just I can't post code in this area of the forum). Its good though can be a bit slow on larger logs eg. 2+mb
Hope you like it, will work on it a bit more but its just an hours work so far |

| Why are XML files annoying? They're structured data. And what is special about your txt files? Will they have any structure to them or will they just be a bunch of text? |

I agree, XML files are much better for a variety of reasons, however the OP is long gone :p

XML may be structured, but people dont open a log to look at the purdy XML, do they .  |
