Blab never claimed to be intelligent, it probably will sound stupid 99% of the time, maybe that's why it was given the name Blab rather than something cool-sounding like AILearner, since it isn't a very useful brain. _________________ Current Site (2008) http://www.cuvou.com/ |

Blab, which I wrote, was designed for those people that wanted to create a chat bot who didn't have enough knowledge to create their own modules. It's not a learning module in the sense of a true AI, it has no logic, etc. and it doesn't try to be one of the thousand Alice-duplicates out there (no hard coded responses), but it does learn, it's not just random. However, it needs to be taught. The more it talks, the more it learns. It can be open to the general public or it can have a specific list of teachers.
It was also designed to as a simple framework upon which other developers could build improved brains. |
