Hello.
Are there any tutorials for how to make an msn bot in Perl? I've got Nex Gen and it works quite good but I want to make my own.
Thanks in Advance. |

Download the new MSN.pm (http://botworld.marzopolis.com, it's MSN2.0 Rev 84) and look at the echobot.pl which comes with it. This gets your bot online. Look at how the commands are made and see if you can make your own. Check out the "commands" section of this forum if you're stuck for ideas. You can expand on the echobot.pl in any way you want - this is the base for most bot templates . _________________ ~ Josh

Ok, I've tried it.
And I get this error:

Install the SSL updates. Check your username and password are correct.
If you say "how", then I will point you to that large Google Search box at the top, so you might as well try there first . _________________ ~ Josh

This solution is NOT the preferred fix for SSL support in Perl. You should install the Crypt-SSLeay module instead. _________________ Check out Botworld! A dev resource for things bot.

Hej, If i follow all that instructions, i get the following error:
Error: No valid repositories: Error: 500 Can't connect to
ppm.ActiveState.com:80 (Bad protocol 'tcp')
Does anyone here know what i should do?
Tnx a lot,
