A fun game, and it shows that computer intelligence is improving!!
My challenge: create a service that works similiar to this.
Hints: - Use a preset set of questions - Work it out with maths.
Actualy it has nothing to do with intelligence. Okay maybe that depends on your definition of intellegence. Either way 20 question games are just programs that have a large database of questions and answers. They know that if you say it is taller than a man, normaly made of wood, has a door nob, then it is probably a door. It is cool, and can be made into cool games. I would not however say it relates in any way to computer intelligence.
/me eagerly awaits your services anyway! ; _________________ Eric256

I can't remember if it was this game or another, but at least one of them learns from playing. It gives better responses over time. And, from my viewpoint, learning is definitely a form of intelligence. I say this with a little bit of bias, considering my "AWordExperiment" game which learns word associations ONLY from playing the game (with 0 external data) and is constantly improving its "knowledge".
Even if you don't count learning as a show of intelligence, creating a program that can learn is a step in the right direction.

Use a preset set of questions
If you really want to create a program that learns, have it start with an empty database (or at the maximum, one question). That is a much bigger, but more rewarding, challenge.

After playing I think I might revise my initial response. It is interesting, and it does learn. It also allows for partial responses. Maybe, somtimes, irrelevant. It is pretty cool. I admit I judged to early on this one! _________________ Eric256

really simple , normal human only have 20.000 active words in use the thing has a great chance of finding it. btw alice (bot on my msn) already has it , i wonder how the maker got the code...
