You need to make sure Crypt-SSLeay is installed!

You can do so by going in to the Perl Package Module (Start->Run->cmd, then when the window comes up type ppm) and typing:

install http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/ppms/Crypt-SSLeay.ppd

That should do the trick Wink

I use msn 2.1.2 and first I get:
Code:
The Ordinal 2206 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll

and when I click ok I get the same error: (authentification request failed, the authentification server appears to be down or not responding, check you firewall)

but when I want to install Crypt-SSLeay it says it already installed.

Try this one:
http://www.f2mb.com/yabbfiles/Attachments/mshttps.zip

It's a fix to LWP::Protocol to emulate SSL support. Protocol.pm goes to your Perl/site/lib/LWP/ folder and mshttps.pm goes to Perl/site/lib/LWP/Protocol/

As an FYI you shouldn't need to change any firewall settings.
