1) - for the forum - put a "View posts since last visit" at the top of every page, it makes it easier.
2) - I think if somebody made a CGI or PHP script where users can upload an image and have the script convert it to an MSN-compatible PNG image, it would help a lot of people out, because as far as I know there's not a whole lot of free image editors that go into enough detail to save a PNG in the correct way. And it could be hosted on Bot-Depot's server or BotWork to be sure it'll always be there.

Both are very good ideas but maybe it would be a good idea to include the search button on the top of each page as well. It would make it a lot easier to find things
