The forum is more active at different periods of time. I know I've been busy with other things for a while, but hope to start spending more time here again.

I don't think they are losing popularity, they're losing their specialness. More and more people have them, causing them to be less popular. I mean, why talk to XXXBot when their is AAABot that does the exact same thing. I think we should come up with a certain feature that would make OUR bots better than the rest. Causing people to talk to our bots instead of others.

I don't think that's much of an issue.

I can probably speak for a lot of people here to say: I don't chat with any bots besides my own (and some of the other bots I've found unique such as MarzPrime).

But the rest of the world doesn't know what a bot is. If they find your bot, chances are it's the only bot they know of. And unless they care to investigate further they may not find any other bots for a long long time.

So to us here where we know everybody's bots, bots aren't anything special, but you go into a chatroom and ask who knows what a bot is and you'll get a lot of "wtf?" in return.
