Well not to hijack the topic but i am also getting a connection error it i saying the username or password is incorrect when i know it is not. could it be cause by the change to passport 3.0 as i figure that it would result in a need for an update in the MSN.pm to handel the new verification/encryption

JTW, the update to passport doesn't affect the "MSN 2.0 (01/21/2005) Rev: 84" version of the module; my bot still signs on. 
His most likely error is with the SSL updates.
