Somebody help?

This is close to exactly what my debug was when i tried running my bot on another machine. The problem was I didn't have the SSL update. I'd recheck that you have SSL fix installed.

hey!

im having a smilar problem, everything works fine on my personal computer, but im trying to get it running off a different older computer, and im getting this error, i tried installing the SSL updates posted by keenie on the MSN protocol downloads, and nothing... i tried the PPM method but the files no longer found, i even tried copying and pasting the lib and site directory from my computer onto the other but its not working....
also i cannot post the debug information as the computer is windows 98, and im not too sure how to copy and paste from "Command" as opposed to "cmd".

we should really build some kind of installer...that defaults to c:\perl for the ssl updates....

Most of the time its them not understanding properly and thats why we get half the errors with msn.pm 2.0

i have copied mshttps.pm to C:\Perl\site\lib\LWP\Protocol
and
used Protocol.pm to replace C:\Perl\site\lib\LWP\Protocol.pm

I didn't install the ssl updates, I didn't need to. I just did
Code:
ppm install http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/ppms/Crypt-SSLeay.ppd
and my bot worked.

Firstly:

To uninstall Perl, DON'T just delete the Perl folder from your C: drive. The system %PATH% variable would still contain references to the Perl folder, and for all your computer's concerned, Perl still exists and it won't fix any problems (and reinstalling an already installed program will confuse your computer even worse).

Perl HAS an uninstall function, go to your Add/Remove Programs and uninstall it from there.

And for advice on reinstall: get the MSI version and keep most of the default options checked while it's installing.
