Good. Now we just need a working module. Razz

I made an attempt at a module earlier. Yahoo's protocol has to be all complicated, sending and receiving huge hex like things...

As far as I got is that you send this when you want to connect:
"YMSG" 00 0B 00 00 20 00 "W" 00 00 00 00 22 22 22 22 0 1 C0 80 $self->{username} C0 80

After that, the server starts sending an endless loop of blank replies (before sending that message, the server just doesn't send any kind of replies). But beyond that I'm stuck. Laughing

If its sending endless blank replies, its most likely your sending the wrong data.

Hehehehe, so who's designing it(for perl)?

If Shmookey's doing c++, then he could get some data to us to make it easier to design a perl one.

It would be great if it was easy to run along side MSN.....

I heard Matt Austin say he was going to be releasing one today. Very Happy So it should be object oriented (since he also works on the MSN module and knows what object orientation is all about Wink ).
