Coding Bots

I voted a little, my bot was the first and only Perl project I've ever embarked upon, my ability to make in-depth commands is non-existent, but I am learning from modifing commands I find, gradual as it may be.

There are hundreds of commands we didn't make, You just have to think harder. Smile

I can surely make a list of commands that havn't been made here yet...
But I don't think you'll be able to make them all...

You see.. This is the mindset of most of this forum. To convert every command to every possible template. Sure if you want it on your bot, then go ahead. But other than that its useless.

Anyone with programming knowledge would be able to take the first one and use it how they see fit. We shouldn't even have to worry about which templates it's for. You should be able to take code and use it in your bot regardless.

re-writing commands is no gain to the community, if you come up with something new and unique, I, for one, would respect you for it.

I agree Keenie ! It also seems that many can only modify something that already exists because they wouldnt be able to write it otherwise LOL

It depends how you approach the subject..

You have to be a good coder to be able to make good commands..It's as asimple as that..I'll admit I am no good with Perl but I am expert with PHP..

Frankly to get bored of it you must either be losing your interest in the "Bot" itself or just not good at making good codes which will keep you entertained..
