1. I've just uploaded RiveScript 1.13 to CPAN (the one that supports RS 2.0 documents). The one currently up there is 1.12 but the upload was broken (CPAN mistakenly thought RiveScript and RiveScript::WD were the same module, so you can only see the pod for WD and not RiveScript), so when 1.13 gets posted it should have everything all straightened out.
2. RiveScript 1.13 contains the utility `rsup`, which upgrades old RiveScript documents to meet the new standards. I've tested it on the Aiden brain that used to come bundled with the old RiveScript modules. It worked fairly well but I had to make a couple of minor edits to tweak a few things. The utility has a couple bugs left to be ironed out and it'll get better with newer releases of the CPAN package.
3. The YaBB2 forums on RiveScript.com now have a couple more boards and a new logo. I've also posted a thread on there that explains that the forum is for bot development in general.
As for the Aiden brain, I don't intend to start bundling it with RiveScript again on CPAN. Currently the CPAN version contains the base brain that also comes with the starter AIM bot, provided by the Perl tutorials on RiveScript.com: http://www.rivescript.com/?p=perl
Eventually, the currently broken "Downloads" link on the main site will have a page where forum threads can be linked to. So, the main download system is going to revolve around attachments to forum threads, but there will be the one page on the main site that acts as a kind of central location that links to all the download topics. It'll be sort of like the "Files" link on Bot-Depot. _________________ Current Site (2008) http://www.cuvou.com/
