Hi
Id really like either, someone willing to code a bot for my site, or pointers in the right direction for what im aiming for.
It will run on msn and maybe irc (if thats possible)
Basically it will be comamnd driven via chat windows so for instanace "hi" would return "hello <user> type "!help" for commands"
It will be able to provide tutorials as multiline text (ie line break after step1, step2 etc)
Also "!downloads" would return a fixed directory list on a server and allow them to download the files (Navigating dirs probably isnt too important as i can use a file name convention)
Also can you use a txt file in perl to contain the input/out puts? then i could write an app to give to site admins to update it with new tutorials, as well as change its name etc
So if you could understand this id really like to be pointed to a ready made bot as close to this as possible, or even any help at all on what to do would be awesome
