I haven't been here a very long time, is this place still active? Looking down post columns it would appear not.
Though I do see that all the old hands are still here such as Cer, Dark Monkey, Alienz, Matt Fenton etc.
Who runs this place now, still eric?
Is msn.pm dead still?
Has everyone moved somewhere else or is this place the end of the road?

Hey,
Bot Depot is still semi-active, though not at all as active as it once was (despite a lot of effort put in by noir118, the new owner). Eric decided he wanted to focus on other things in life, so handed it over to noir, who's done a terrific job of making the place look lovely.
The MSN.PM is semi-dead. A few people have done a little bit of work on it, adding new features such as nudges or w/eva, but other than that no work has been done. It must be noted that it does work, but there is just no more work being done to it.
And finally, I believe that this is the end of the road - there isn't as much interest at all in bots as there once was, and it just doesn't seem to be picking up again.
At the moment the forum is more of a question and answer session than a discussion area. Someone who needs help will ask a question, we'll answer, and that'll be it. *sigh*. _________________ ~ Josh

I wouldn't recommend it. The forum will look empty! _________________ ~ Josh

A new leaf sounds good to me. |

I try my self to visit once every few days and see what's happening, I think what we really need is an influx of newbies to reinvigorate the bot scene, has any one thought of seeing if we can get on mess.be again?
It's been so long since I've done any real coding now (over a year) - but I my self still have a general interest in bots and helping people. |

I check up on the site every 2-3 months. Seems more dead each time. It's actually pretty depressing. Do any of the bots such as Maya or WhiteWarrior even work anymore? And whats up with http://botworld.marzopolis.com/ is that just an offshoot of what this site was or a side-project?
I think it would be great to see things moving again somehow. but Microsoft seems to be taking things into their own account with the Create your own API Shit feature they added..
Someday perhaps. |

This could be insanely possible...
Darkmonkey and I use an IRC server of our friend's which actually hosts the mess.be IRC chat. I'm sure he has some contact with dwergs! |
