Bot Depot Banner Contest

Based on the recent creativity shown by board members zander, Cer and Matthew Fenton I've decided to start a banner contest on Bot Depot. Rules are simple:

1) Create a banner for Bot Depot using the 768x90 banner at the top of the page as your baseline image. Add text, effects, animation, whatever your creative mind comes up with.

2) Upload the image to this thread as a GIF or JPEG attachment using our attachment system. (This will use up some of your quota.) A thumbnail of your image will be generated automatically.

3) Filesize of your design must not exceed 50k.

The winning banner will replace the current banner in use on the site!

So what does the winner get? A custom title, the ability to place images in their signature, and their attachment quota increased to 5 megabytes. We'll accept submissions for the next week, and then the board admins and moderators will decide on their favorite banners. If our decision is not unanimous, a poll will be setup and the banner with the most votes after 48 hours will be declared the winner. So good luck!

Edit: made it an .jpg file when saving it to a.gif the image got weird

Edit2: deleted image ; it was to big

zander, the rules are the rules and can't be bent or broken. Please redo your submission to follow the contest guidelines.

Reducing the filesize on JPG & GIF files is a crazy art - this is a good reference for tips and tricks on how this can be done.

Ok due to me having to change the colours it has major colour loss, hopefully this wont affect my hopes of winning... the original is much higher quality but twice as large in file size

it is 2kb over the limit, please accept i dont want to lose anymore colour!

At least to win my vote. Plus if the above is what 30k and looks way nicer Wink
