Hmm, ok I will see what I can do. By the way, a suggestion for everyone - something that will really help me is if there is an existing mod that provides the feature you are requesting provide me with a link to the mod. This will save me the time of tracking one down, and I can quicker evaluate if it will work with the board. I'm not a mod developer, but I can take an existing mod and modify it if necessary. _________________ Gadgets | Bot Coding | MMORPG | Ads Pixel | Random Messages | Gift Baskets | Used Electronics | Resident Evil | Hero NBC |

I found the mod for php.
It can be found here:
http://phpbbhacks.com/download/181
I think only some minor tweaks are needed to make it work with perl. |

It's just str_replace'ing a [code] tag to highlight_string in PHP. It can't easily be converted because Perl doesn't have a simular function.
Edit: Found Apache::Syntax::Highlight::Perl, but it's not quite what's needed. |

Sweet!
Another suggestion - minor, but might be useful - a link directly to personal messages, not just the inbox, when the email alert is sent out. Relevent mod can be found here.
Things are looking good, and the forum should return to activity quite fast - hopefully ! |

| I will be a mod if you need me. I'm currently a Perl programmer for a startup in LA. I have worked a lot with the MSN.pm (added ink support, file-transfer) i created a working yahoo module (YahooSimple.pm) and I'm working on a full working yahoo module and YMSG wiki to document the yahoo protocol. |

Done, and it works perfectly
Topics such as this have messed up [ code ] tags after the switch to Invision. I'll make a script to remove the <br />'s - but could I possibly have the table structure for the messages table? I don't want to have to install my own copy to make a simple script ;p.
ps: gogomattaustin for mod - the leetest person on this forum (maybe him and eric should battle for supremity :>) |

I will be a moderator if need be. I used to and I am planning on being again a very active member of this forum and I wish to aid it in anyway I can to help it thrive again, if that means being a moderator or not. Although my work doesn’t centre around perl any more, I still wish for it to be a part of it.
BTW mattaustin would be a good mod to have! _________________ MSN: gavin [at] gavinbrittain [dot] co [dot] uk
