The reports of Bot-Depot's death have been greatly exaggerated. Nice to meet you, I'm noir118, good friend of eric256. Eric's turned over the management aspect of the great Bot-Depot over to me, and he plans to stay on as moderator, "bot genius" and all-around great guy. He actually prefers it this way, as this will free him up to concentrate on bots while he leaves the admin work to me.
So what's different at Bot-Depot? Plenty! I'm a phpBB maniac and have already modded the board with an attachment mod, which means you can now upload bot code to your posts, manage the files in your quota, and even PM code files to other board members! I've also installed numerous security mods which will eliminate spam bots and protect the board, and have plenty more mods on my list to enhance your Bot-Depot experience.
We're in the process of changing the .com domain over, in the meantime we're using .net since it points to the new server. Once the domain transfer is complete, both bot-depot.net and bot-depot.com will work. Eric is still active on the board and you can PM him at eric256. Got a suggestion or comment for Bot-Depot? We hope that this will be a change for the best and a new beginning for bot-depot.
Bot-Depot has survived for several years and I hope it will continue to thrive. In fact I have an Idea for a newer better Andromeda bot!

Im glad to see Bot-Depot getting back up onto it's feet, maybe you'll be seeing more of me and a lot of other users coming back....

Alas, http://botworld.marzopolis.com is now "the place" for bot downloads - run by the infamous alienz. You'll find most templates there (although Andromeda was never uploaded - personal grudge?) |
