For some reason bots seem to have some kind of problem when humans use line breaks in their messages.
For instance:
Quote:
Kirsle: Hello.
How are you?
AidenCKS: Hello there Cer. I'm fine, how are you?
Code:
Saturday, September 3, 2005 @ 8:48:03 PM
How are you?IM-kirsle] Hello.
AidenAIM: [aidencks] Hello there Cer. I'm fine, how are you?
And AIM for example sends one line full of HTML as your message, so removing all HTML would have one line of message with no line breaks. Anyway, that's kinda beside the point, this happens on MSN as well.
Mine does that too, but I don't consider it a big issue since most people aren't going to type a sentence in IM with line breaks. I suppose you could just turn line breaks in the message into spaces, that'd fix the problem if you're removing HTML. _________________ Check out Botworld! A dev resource for things bot.
