I've been using net:aim for quite awhile, I attempted switching over to oscar once but there were so many things I just couldn't get to work.
Anywho, for the past couple of days, its been running normally, and there haven't been any errors, but it's not appearing online. I've tried it on different computers, and with different screennames, but no luck.
Any ideas? Could this have anything to do with the recent update to the AOL client? |

| I have been having the same exact problem. Everything worked fine up until a few days ago, and suddenly no AIM bots work. |

If you both have the same problem, then it is probably something to do with the AIM protocol changing, or a AIM server error which will be fixed in due course. Wait a week, and if the problem persists, then consider packet sniffing AIM to see if anything has changed. Also look around other AIM forums for hint of protocol change . _________________ ~ Josh

that would be fine if I knew how..
And at this point I have nothing to compare it to, to see if anything changed.
Oh well.. I've already started converting to OSCAR again. Maybe this time I'll be able to find a way to reliably tell if someone is online... |

| lemme know if you figure anything out bro. I was hoping someone else did AIM bots (and has more experience than me) knew what the issue is before I tried tackling it |

AOL has recently changed some things with TOC. Net AIM is going the way of the dodo. _________________ Check out Botworld! A dev resource for things bot.
