hi all!
before I get flamed by all for posting a question about a "malicious" bot, I'd first like to know if these are the type of bots are allowed to be discussed here.
most of you should know what I mean. the type of bot that you use to create a botnet, mainly for malicious purposes. not no mass mailing bots (thats a virus if it mass spreads) but simple everyday IRC bots like rxbot, sdbot, agobot, etc.
if this type of bot is not allowed to be discussed here, let me know here and I will leave. just making sure I am on the right site before I go asking questions.
Bots are bots. Discuss them all you want, but don't ask for help on making them, as then you will get flamed. _________________ ~ Josh

what if my question is regarding a cheap host for a secure IRCd? it is related to creating a botnet but not the bot in specific. a host that doesn't mind this type of thing (even though they might not even be aware, and there will be no damages to their server) even if they do find it. I know there probably aren't many but there must be some. of course I will make my best attempts at securing the botnet room, the server admin can still see through it.
EDIT: nevermind . I found this one that I like, alot:

We don't restrict you with bandwidth usage, so need not worry about high bandwidth usage in DDOS attack or net splits.
also what if I ask where to find a specific bot's source code? agobot in specific. I will not ask questions on how to fix errors (I know C++, quite well) or how to use it, but simply where to find source code. you think I will get flamed for that?
let me know if one or if any of these questions are ok.
ryan_nyquist, it sounds like you are wanting malicious evil bots that will use IRC and act as trojans or whatever, spread themselves across the network, and just be a general neusance.
We won't support you one bit with your terrorist bots here. _________________ Current Site (2008) http://www.cuvou.com/
