If you can find the mod for this on phpbb.com I would love to apply it. That is certainly one that bugs me. BTW it would be nice to hear positve stuff from people instead of these. I know they are meant as constructive critism but still give a guy a break! |

| One thing is that the avatar restrictions are a bit rough. I could understand limiting the file size for uploaded avatars, but it shouldn't have to care so much for offsite ones. And what kind of dimensions are 80x80? Most forums at least go by 64x64. |

80x80 is the maximum. That means the largest, that means you can feel free to use 64x64 if you wish. _________________ Eric256

Yeah, but last time I checked, the site checks the size of the linked image too, so you can't even go over 6kb on an offsite link (maybe you could trick it with a dynamic CGI, when phpBB accesses it it would return a small image, but returns the normal one otherwise...) |

I can upload my own, or use my own image hosting, but that's not the point. I don't want to use up other people's bandwidth. I want to use Eric's _________________ ~ Josh

Yeah... I went away for a whole week, returned to Bot-Depot for the first time in like 7 or 8 days, and..... no new posts! How weird, there's usually new posts by the end of any 24-hour period.
On the old forum, guests are still posting new stuff, you should disable guests the ability to post. And also on the "you cannot post" error, have a link back to here... I think people still haven't found the new forum yet. |
