Welcome to the new forum.
It will take some adjusting no doubt but please explore the new system and see what it can do. Mods will probably be being applied shortly to enhance it (like an attatchment mod) but they are not in place yet.

I bet you can probably guess the answer to that.  New starter topics will be needed for all templates. Sorry for the mess. |

is there any way to make it so that the search function includes the posts from the old board?
I ran a search here and it didn't turn up anything, then ran the same search on the old board got results... |

Nobody can post anything new on the Invision forum anyway, so the "View New Posts" thing has limited power anymore. lol
(oh, this is fun, the Preview button comes before Submit)

Yes there are still bells and whistles that need added.

I would clean it out completely, a fresh start....there's so much rubbish on here that its impossible to find decent things...
We can always post things that are needed and then carry on from there...
Even the members could be cleaned out, we could register again...
a whole new fresh start might bring around a new approach, bring some people back?
Something defiantly needs to be done to try and restore it back to the good ole' days..
Plus whats happened with signature now? it wont allow my signature that i currently have which i cant find a problem with! |

So turn the spell check off! It is an option.
As for cleaning out....no i don't see a lot of benifit to that. If you don't want the old stuff don't look through it. Otherwise there is a good base of usefull info in there among the crap. So for now i still vote for living with it as is. I will probably look into reclaiming usernames that have a 0 post count though. |

I think there should be a "View New Posts" link at the top of every page. It's annoying when you have to go back to the forum index and THEN click it (and the back button's not useful cuz it doesn't catch anything NEW that wasn't there the first time).
