CEs

I am trying to add CEs to my bot.

They are added fine, and apparently sent fine, except the emoticon shows up blank. There is the normal frame and all the features like add to your own collection work on it, but essentially it is a blank square. any ideas?

The emoticon is either invalid (should be PNG with a 256 color palette), or your bot's not on your contact list. You can't see peoples' CEs unless they're on your list. If the bot IS on your list, the image file is probably bad or it just doesn't download.

Well, i have had the same problem..
In fact it can be the shortcut ! just use bracket "(" but not "<, >, :" or nothing else...

Try with brackets and tell us if it works Wink

Sometimes the same thing happens to me with the official client, people send me an emoticon and it never loads. Only once its happened where I was the one sending the emoticon and it didnt load for the receiver, and it was an animated gif which did it (Yes the other peson did have msn7), so maybe thats the problem, is the emoticon youre sending an animated one?

oh, mine were true colour!

but it was the bracket thing that fixed it
