Hi everyone. sum1 recently posted an idea with my bot asking if it was possible to play MSN games with it. I highly doubt this (as i dont think perl can interact with flash) but i decided to ask the experts anyway. So is it possible or not?
Thanks |

Yes it is possible, some bots can already play msn games. I know Bot2k3 can do some games.
I really doubt anyone is going to just give you the code though. |

You dont need to interact with Flash. The flash game is basically what you see. "Under water" there's basically plain text of some sort which manages everything. It's possible alright, and I've already done most non MSN Zone games (TicTacToe, 4 In A Row, Battleships, etc). However, it's P2P and well, quite hard. The MSN Zones are still impossible seeing as there is still one hash left to crack down on.
If you really want them I suggest you start learning P2P by looking at some doc sites. Mind you, it will take a lot of time. Lots. Also, like Teario says, I won't be releasing any parts of BOT2K3 source which manage the games. |

As soon as I finish some *paying* projects, I'll get back into P2P and try to put together a nice open source package for playing MSN games, in Perl. Hopefully, I can round up a few other developers, so that this is a group (read: faster) effort. |

Its not actualy taht hard to do MSN games (If they dont use SSL) just requires a good understanding of the langauge your making your app in and a packet sniffer
