Howdy everyone it's been a while since i've posted here, so I thought i'd tell you about CustoSig, a service which allows you to create a customized MSN signature.
Now a lot of you have seen these new sigs with the DPs and the PSMs by argon CustoSig can't give you a DP yet, but it can give you your PSM So until argon's are publicly avaliable, here's the next best thing! When you add ZSBot, and type !custosig ZSBot sends you a unique code to use CustoSig. Simply visit: http://www.zsbot.co.uk/custosig/index.php?email=youremailhere (Please note only firefox has been tested)
Now in the box that you can see, type your email, and in the box below, the secret code. Now simply follow the 4 steps to create your own sig, and then display it on forums and sites
You can chop and change your sig as much and as often as you like
My plan for future versions is not to focus so much on MSN But to focus on all kinds of web services. E.g. Botwork, blogger, MSN Spaces, Whatpulse, maybe even a custom RSS feed. But for now, enjoy and tell me what you think!
Please note that IE is not fully supported, there's some problems with the cookies and so far only Firefox has been fully tested. Also you must add ZSBot to use custosig Add it here -Maxeh
The only problem is that this forum doesn't like you using dynamic images as your signatures, so we can't use that on here. _________________ Current Site (2008) http://www.cuvou.com/
The forum shouldn't spot it as dynamic, it's just a normal png. But you're right, it does reject it...
Yeah, when I put my bot's status indicator in my signature.... the "file name" is online.cgi, but Invision would see the "cgi" as a bad image format, so I tried "online.cgi?.jpg" but got the error about dynamic images, so finally I did "online.cgi#.jpg" lol
If you can get your host to somehow be able to get dynamic data from the URL without using query strings (like some sites do, for example members.msn.com/any-email-address will take you to that user's profile), you could probably trick the forum into allowing it.
Or Eric could always just go and modify it. _________________ Current Site (2008) http://www.cuvou.com/

just config your server with a .htaccess file in a new folder, and in that folder tell it to run .png.... or what ever extention as perl or php. then save your php or perl file as .png.
I have some evamples if you dont get what im talking about. Its pritty simple _________________ [ matt ]
