I've been working on a bot project called Cougar. This is a BETA experimental learning bot, similar to my AWordExperiment bot. It will have several learning modules (including AWE eventually). Right now, it has only one module, Common Sense.
With Common Sense, you talk to the bot about simple everyday objects, like animals, fruits, etc. You can teach it things and ask it questions. It only understands a limited number of things right now so please be patient.
When you are talking to the bot, type '!questions' or '!examples' (without the quotes) to get an idea of the things it knows how to respond to.
I'm most interested in how easy it is to talk to, whether it is self-explanatory and, as usual, catching bugs. If you have any ideas for making it better, let me know. Expect the bot to be up and down since it is still heavily under development.
You can talk to the bot on MSN at: cougar@botwork.com
NOTE: this bot doesn't play games, host chatrooms or have commands. If you find that boring, then please don't bother talking to Cougar. I only want people who are interested in Learning Techniques.
I added my Word Association learning module to Cougar. This is the same code from AWordExperiment. I plan to phase that bot out and get users to switch to Cougar.
