| That's Godlike, but I am not sure what post count (500 or 650, or something). Personally, I think that 500 is a good amount - any lower and people will spam loads just to get it. At 500, they need to be a valid member, with lots of genuine posts. The same thing happened when people tried to get 20 posts for their rep - a bigger number is better . | I wish the rating was done based on quality of posts. Things like http://www.bot-depot.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5710 are sad. I will probably never get to 500 because I refuse to make "me too" posts. Wasn't there a feature with the [+] [-] that was about respect or was that on another board? It's nice to bump people's ranking if they post informative thought out posts. |

It is NOT a rating of any sort. Consider it a perk for hanging around for a long time.
BTW the post you linked to doesn't seem to have a "me too" post, but I do know what you mean. What can i say, people are annoying. I can say I don't post "me too" posts but I am well above 500, and there are many others. Contribute and 500 posts is not as many as it sounds.
