I want to know how Eric set up "Additional Information" in his profile (i.e. he has his AIM bot on there). I can't find out how to do that. :huh:

Hopefully i'll get the RSS back up soon. The smilies look like a problem with the permissions. I'll find and fix it. Hopefully, if anyone knows what those directories and files should be chmod 'ed to then PM me.

Go to your control panel. Then edit your profile. Its a custom profile option. I will probably add one each for the different protocols.

BTW, why is EVERYTHING in the sig disabled (Check mine...)? Images, OK, I cant understand that.. But even bold, links etc? I dont see a problem with those things really :-/ Not to mention 150 chars is hardly enough to let people make "annoying" sigs.

Thats his Custom Member title found on your control panel as well. It might only be available after a certain time.

The sigs only have on off for HTML and BB Code. I can't pick and choose which elements I like and dislike. I might consider some of the div hacks to make the signartore only soo tall even if people put crap in, we will see.

Hehe... I'm sure the space between the top of the page and the logo is on purpose. Heck, it even looks good.

Why not enable BB code in the signature, have some rules setup about them and if people break these you could either empty their signature or (this will need a bit of patching) disable usage of signatures for this user from now on.

Alternatively, you could patch it to only render certain bb codes, but that's probably more work. The DIV hack might work, but only allow bb codes then or people will be able to close the DIV tag and override your hack.

Since i'm used to 'code-less' signatures for a while on this place, it doesn't bother me much... You might conduct a small poll to see what people think. Back to top
