Cool! Some ideas:
Tabbed convos
Maybe have it display how long ago you saw a contact online e.g. 3 hours etc
Default custom smilies
Backgrounds
Multi login (So you can log onto more than one account at once)

Some of those probably can't be done but there just ideas....

storing the password in MD5 does me no good because thats impossible to decript...its only used to varrify is the same string matches..that said there are a few good crypt/devrypt modules ill look into for that.

Woaw, awsome. Do the IRC, AIM and Jabber buttons do anything, yet? That's really cool though B). How about a cool icon instead of the TK one?

Ah. Just realised as I was arguing your MD5 point that you are right - I was thinking you are logging into a local thing, not MSN. Meh. How about making your own encryption Razz, maybe base32 it twice, then base64, then rot13? That would rock Razz

That cools much better, maybe make a login button as it looks abit odd as everything else looks kinda 3D. Also I know you have your reasons for called it "PIMP" but some people might not understand that it means "Perl Interface MultiProtocol" and they may think it means the other meaning.

QUOTE(darkmonkey @ Jan 25 2005, 08:31 AM)
Do you sign on as much as you use AIM and MSN?

Almost.... Jabber signs me in when I log on to my computer.... but if Jabber disconnects me, I don't bother signing in again.... only if I'm already set to "Away" on AIM and MSN, and want to issue a command to my bot without having people IM me thinking I'm back online again. B)

Does this messenger client run as fast as others? I've thought about making Tk clients before, but from experience in their use for bots, it seemed like they would be a little too slow.

I was going to call mine "Infinite Messenger" or something... except with a weird spelling. Razz

You should work on this one with me...i think we could do alot with it together Wink
