The thing is the choice is very minimal, you are basically forced into using Windows. I know you can use Linux and Mac's etc.. but when you think about it everything IS for Windows... _________________ http://www.polylogical.co.uk
i bet the majority of you use windows, msn, internet explorer, some probably use visual studio
if your going to say you dont like them, you better not be using any of their software, which you could easily not do
I have to agree with what you said. And yes...I do like Microsoft, if we didn't have Microsoft, we would not have a bunch of the things we are using right now.

I'm not sure that we would have a bunch of things we are using right now. I mean are you talking about word, cause there is wordperfect and open office. Do you mean windows itself, cause XWindows has actualy been around much longer. Internet Explorer has competetion from Opera, Netscape and others.
So what wouldn't we have without microsoft?
Besides of course software that is extremely over priced? _________________ Eric256

Did microsoft own reboot? I don't get your point. I don't believe (might be wrong though) that microsoft owned that show, or even that they made up that phrase. In fact microsoft didn't even make up the term windows or even dos. _________________ Eric256

Ah....lol, I was getting off topic when I was talking about 'reboot'. In your display pic/sig or whatever, it has that green guy, he was off a show called 'reboot', lol.
But back on topic...
Even though we could do without some stuff from Microsoft, some of it we do need. You just have to think about it...
