Hey...my bot's menus offer users the ability on clicking "links" that message the bot an exact "trigger"
For example, if they want to see the USER OPTIONS MENU...they could type "User Options"...or click on the "link" in the MAIN MENU that will insert the phrase "USER OPTIONS" in part of the window where they type their message...the only problem is, is that the window keeps the focus on the convo part of the window, instead of back to the typing region...I've probably confused you guys...lol
Is there a way to have the link turn the focus back down to the "insert" region of the AIM message window?
Here is the "link" that the bot offers in the "main menu":...
Code:
(Click or) Type <a href="aim:goim?screenname=BOTNAME&message=USER OPTION">USER OPTION</a> to go to the user options menu
...and when they click on it...
Quote:
USER OPTION
appears in the "message" box of the AIM window, where you type what you want to send.
As it is now, the link works properly, and inserts the message trigger into the box, but it doesn't place the window's focus in that box, so someone has to then click in the box in order to send the message. _________________ Anthony Arslan
