The WiredBots source uses the MSN 1.2.1 module in a local library. To fix this, go into the bot.pl and comment out this line:
Code:
<br />use lib "./lib"; <br />
I did this then on my CMD it says this - and goes offline -
Code:
<br />Useless use of hash element in void context at C:/Perl/lib/MSN.pm line 387.<br />Useless use of a constant in void context at C:/Perl/lib/MSN.pm line 387.<br />"my" variable $challenge masks earlier declaration in same scope at C:/Perl/lib/<br />MSN.pm line 911.<br />Name "MSN::OUT" used only once: possible typo at line 389.<br /><br /><br />Including on_im.pl.. OK!<br />Including docrypt.pl.. OK!<br />Including commands.pl.. OK!<br />Including log_im.pl.. OK!<br />Including thought.pl.. OK!<br />Defined Connect<br />Defined Message<br />Defined Answer<br />Defined Join<br /><br />Use of uninitialized value in delete at C:/Perl/lib/MSN.pm line 529.<br />sub Connected called.<br /><br /><br /><br />Calling the Admin!<br /><br />Odd number of elements in hash assignment at C:/Perl/lib/MSN.pm line 845, <GEN1><br /> line 5.<br />
Does this mean i will have to get another msn.pm. OR use the wired bot msn.pm - But in a previous Topic the wired bot msn.pm didnt work for some people. It didnt for me.
The one that came with WiredBots may or may not work for some people. If it doesn't work, you'll have to tinker around on this forum trying various alternatives and fixes until you get it to work.
Why does Microsoft have to be so annoying anyway? Look at all the work they're making us do down here.

naw no tinkering, go and download msn.pm 1.3
And it works..
I needed to create a new account here because there is a serious bug in InvisionBoard.... With my old account I could login but i couldn't see my PM's or topics.... _________________ Sypher
