Remove Hall of Fame

I think the hall of fame should go, because it causes users to spam (*cough joex cough*).

Last time I checked I was in 4th place and JoeX was in 5th (Nate was 3rd, Keenie 2nd, Eric 1st). I was like 20 to 30 posts ahead of JoeX.

And now, in a matter of like 2 days...

JoeX is now 30 or so posts ahead of ME! And Keenie mentioned JoeX was spamming and posting all kinds of useless crap (I noticed it at school once, "Get New Posts" -> 20 posts, all say "Last Post by JoeX" <_<)

So if you get rid of the hall of fame, users won't keep spamming to get to the top. Because as it's going now, by next week JoeX could have spammed his way up a few hundred more posts just to be on top.

mayb users who post useless crap time after time, (sometimes me) should get a tempory ban

lol Cer, It's just Joex but he stoped a while ago, so there's really no point of getting rid of it anymore. Smile

Well I think the status like neewbie member young one..... should be "given" if you aare good... post counter diasactved so this would be nice thats my suggestion...

Yeah, anyway, Eric should make like a small bot that checks if the message is worth being kept, like if it has key words that say that the post is meaningful.

And if not, you get a little check mark, and after five times you get a temporary ban or something.

Meh, how about 7 times.

Well, I mean, a kind of small built-in bot.

Kind of like the coding it takes to SAVE the message to a database somewhere, just have it do some simple string parsing.

No, there's a portal item, I think it's called "top posters" in the "Edit Portal" section of the settings pages.

But on the main page/when you click "Portal", a table on the side says "Hall of Fame" and has the 5 top posters on it.

At least 100 of JoeX's posts are rather useless. Many are annoying, even if he is posting to help. For Example...there is absolutely NO NEED to "quote" someone's entire message, when you're trying to refer to it...Perhaps you should try and say their name like:

HELP US, HELP YOU!
