Heres the SSL fix for windows, needed if you want to use the MSN perl module..

Included files & where to put them

mshttps.pm - goes in your %PERL%\site\lib\lwp\Protocol directory
Protocol.pm- can replace your %PERL%\site\lib\lwp\Protocol.pm
Protocol_20030416.diff - unified diff of the changes to Protocol.pm,
if you want to patch Protocol.pm instead of replacing it.

The latest version (Nov 6 2003) of the SSL support for LWP on Windows can be found at PATCH: Windows SSL support for LWP.

I've fixed a bug in the error handling in the Wininet case. So you should be able to run a bot on a box that doesn't have WinHttp.dll installed, i.e. pre-Win2K-SP3, non-Win Server2003/XP.

ok i no wats wrong.. i think. it happened to me. this mite sound repetative to you but check your ssl fixes are in the right directory. the MSHTTPS.PM goes in your PROTOCOL directory which is in the LWP directory and the PROTOCOL.PM goes just in the LWP directory. what i did was put both of them just in the LWP directory

hope this helps Smile
