Hmm.. I don't think this has been done, I've searched the forum archives.. And I'm not sure how this could come in handy.. Maybe to access data stored for a certain user from any AIM account? Like.. Say you are on a different AIM account than you usually use, but you want a bot to talk to you as it would if you were on your normal AIM account (if your bot calls you by your name and not your screenname or something...). Also possibly to access "Bot-Mail"? It'd be kind of fun.
Maybe have a folder and have a ton of different ".txt" files for each username, and inside would be the password (that's the way I'd do it). Or you could use one ".txt" file with all the usernames and passwords (like on each line itd say something like "mybotusername][mybotpassword").
You could login and logout.. It'd be very simple to login, like the user would type ".login mybotusername mybotpassword" and it'd open another text file like "loggedin/$user.txt" and print the bot username that they are logged into.
Anyway, this is just a thought, it could be interesting.. Maybe I'll make something like that, hehe. |

It doesn't matter that it's been done before. We have a dictionary command that gets an actual definition from an actual dictionary - SmarterChild had/has that command too, had it long before this site was created and I don't even remember there ever being a dictionary command with WiredBots either.
So instead of closing this topic, you could just leave it and maybe somebody'll post code on how to do it. _________________ Current Site (2008) http://www.cuvou.com/ |
